Back in the 80's, the Coach House was a dive where old men went to drink themselves to an early grave. I'm sort of kidding. But not really. It was never crowded, it was never trendy.
TODAY. The owners of the Coach House fought hard to keep it open during the time when Scottsdale was trying to modernize and upgrade the look of downtown and it paid off in spades.

, it's a nice place to get a drink that doesn't cost 15 bucks. The patio is comfortable, and if it's late, there are sometimes really good food trucks outside.
