  • We have stayed here a few times over the last year and it was nice. However on this visit I don't know if it is under new management or what was going on but it was so bad we left and went to another hotel. There was a terrible sewage smell in the hall and even in our room. They tried to tell us it was grease traps in the restaurants down the road. We knew it wasn't it smelled like sewage. Then we came out one morning and there were a bunch of men drunk,still drinking and smoking in the patio area so we couldn't enjoy sitting there. They were still there when we left to do some fun things and when we came back late afternoon we were going to enjoy a glass of wine on the patio but there were beer cans and cigarette butts everywhere, no one bothered to clean it up. Our room still stunk. They offered a bottle of febreeze!We were over it and moved to another hotel. We will not stay here again and our family in town said they will not recommend them to anyone else. Unless something changes don't stay at this Hampton inn. A couple of days after I left this review we talked to another couple that left this Hampton. My husband and I thought we were getting sick because we had been sneezing and coughing. The other couple said the same thing and they checked the air condition filter and it was filthy. We were all so disappointed because this Hampton was so much closer to our family. New management?? I would not recommend this Hampton unless they fix issues. There is a Hampton north on grand ave in surprise-very nice.
