  • Artka will be my go-to spot for when I can't get downtown but need (a) Swarovski crystals or (b) strands of semiprecious stones. Again, there's not always enough selection in some things -- you can get lots of clasps, jumprings, bails, earring hooks, and headpins, but... no bright gold chain. No, wait, there was one but it was a little package and it was very fine. No decent silver chain either. They also have nice scarves and tons of translucent ribbon and some premade jewelry. When you need help with an item, go ask, because the staff won't approach you until you approach them.
