  • I'm glad we made a stop to Odana Antiques. It appears to be an old grocery store or something similar filled with a great variety of merchandise. Lots of beautiful lamps, interesting Folk art, antique and salvaged furniture, china, books, glassware, even lodge style decor. Many of the "booths" are decorated very nicely, which enhances the shopping experience. The way the sections are laid out makes it somewhat hard to remember if you've seen it all or to figure out your plan of attack. Some sections are laid out on a diagonal. I wanted to go back and show some theater seats I saw to my husband, and it took me a good 10 minutes of circling around to find them again. Upon entering, shopping and leaving no one spoke to us. A "hello" or "thanks" might have been nice, but maybe they just like to let people be. I probably spent 10 minutes pawing through a bin of buttons plucking out bingo chips. Odana held my attention for at least an hour, which is saying something as far as antique malls go.
