I went into Felix Sabates Ford Dealership on South Blvd, on May 28th, 2017. I was looking to purchase two vehicles, A Ford Raptor and Focus ST. The salesperson who greeted us was a young guy. After several minutes it was very clear he did not know anything about the vehicles. He went to get the sales manager. We were greeted and told the GM that we were interested in Purchasing two cars. The Raptor had a $10k over MSRP upcharge. Based on that I was not willing to buy anything or do any business with Felix Sabates Ford dealership. The only advice I can give those who want a vehicle show some patience and wait. Never do business with a dealership that is willing to gouge the customer. If you recall the Dodge Hellcats had big markups and now they are selling for $5k under MSRP and the used models with low mileage are $20k depreciated. I understand if a dealer wants to get full MSRP. But to rip off their current or future customers is unacceptable. If we all had a little patience or just said no to this practice, the market would react. It costs a dealer money to keep a car on the lot for a long period of time. So make them hold them and eventually the dealer will lower the price.
