If you have a mechanical timepiece and it needs a service/overhaul or a full out repair, there are very few reputable options in the GTA. The one and only place I have found that has high feedback from Watchuseek.com is Vik @ Canadian Watch Imports.
I've serviced all my automatics (including vintages) there over the past 7 years; and not once have I been let down. FYI - he was able to source and replace a 1960's women's Rado Diastar cracked crystal with an OEM quartz in under a month.
If you are not knowledgeable in how the watch industry works (who makes what parts, auto vs. quarts, etc.), Vik genuinely tries to explain (in layman's terms) the high-level rationale behind your particular service or repair. Much like a tailor, or a mechanic, you owe it to yourself to establish a rapport with your fellow watch repair shop; otherwise just buy yourself a Fossil/Michael Kors and throw it away every year.
A straight-shooter, with no fussy up-sells or additions. A highly recommended gem that I will certainly continue to frequent on the regular.
