  • Man....what a big, fat BUMMER!!! Dear New Owner....please get your act together and bring back the Arcadia Tavern we know and love. Ordered my favorite, succulent chicken dish....what a disappointment. Dry, flavorless....drippy mashed potatoes, thin/oily au jus. NO!!! This dish was always so perfectly amazing and delicious. What the heck? And the cheeseburger-replacement-meal was equally as unappetizing. Come one guys....are you nuking everything, and that is what is causing tough bun, dry meat and barely -edible chicken? Get it together!!! And the waitstaff....oy vey! Lackadaisacal to say the least. Friendly-ish....but certainly not oozing customer service. Best part of the night was the wine. Oh....and the two super nice, wonderful young valet guys who informed me that my front tires were pretty much ready to blow out at any moment. (Seriously thank you...off to the tire store in the a.m.). Too bad the folks inside the restaurant didn't show the same degree of interest in customer service. Fingers crossed Arcadia Tavern is just going through some growing pains with new ownership....and next visit will be back to the yummy food and awesome service of the past. I'm giving you guys one more chance....hope you can rally. If I were the owner...I'd be there nightly asking people how their food was (NOTE: plates with barely-touched food are a sign that something is wrong...) and engaging customers. Lots of competition in that corner of the world....a couple of poor experiences and folks will just mozy on down the road to OHSO, The Vig, or numerous other options. Good luck!
