I love West Side Market. It's one of those unique things that really makes Cleveland the city that it is. One of my favorite weekend pastimes is wandering the stalls and picking out interesting ingredients to try out in my kitchen.
That said, there are some things to watch out for. Parking is always an issue, even with the updated meter system. My recommendation is to go early in the morning or on a weekday if you can.
Also, be careful which produce vendors you choose. There are several who have consistently sold me bad berries or will try to double talk you on the posted prices. Look for which vendors have lines in front of them. The crowds know who to trust.
Also, there is an *amazing* ice cream stand. Try the coffee ice cream, it's an excellent treat.
