  • Hello friends on yelp, I have much insight on this bed and breakfast because I worked there for over four years. I would say it is a little world of it's own with both pros and cons. I wanted to mention that Katie and George are very hard workers and are extremely knowledgeable about the history of Brandywine, which is great! They are defiantly set in there ways which can be intense at times. I could rave for days about their food!! I have honestly told them if I had to pick a last meal before I die it would be their food!!! Sooooo yummy!!!! There's pasta carbonara, delicious omelets, amazing fruit salad and great oatmeal, heart shaped walnut waffles, homemade bread and fresh squeezed orange juice (which I juiced myself!!!!!!) I adore how amazing and healthy it is!! Also Katie and George will accommodate the food for your own diets, (George is a vegan.) They change the main entrĂ©e every day so the customers won't get sick of it. But they keep the oatmeal and fruit and juice everyday. This place is detail oriented and very conscientious of little embellishments! The bed is made special with like 3 different sheets, making me sleepy changing them constantly!:) I know there are down falls to his place as well. Sometimes Katie and George do not feel like being flexible or over react to things, you have to have thick skin or if your easily offended then be prepared. Also if you are handicap there are not many ways for you to get around. (No ramp or elevator) But I give it four stars because it is very unique and a nice get away if you enjoy nature. I think the pros out way the cons!
