All I have to say is WOW. if you want to spend your money at a store where they will provide you with the worst treatment, and where they'll never accept accountability for their horrible service, come shop here.
I purchased a sink online for pick-up. Right after placing the order, I contacted the store, to see if there was any way to expedite the sink and I said I would be willing to pay any expediting fees. The girl I spoke with took down my phone number and said that it shouldn't be a problem. She said usually if they call and speak to the vendor, they can expedite it right after you place the order (which is what I had done).
After waiting 3 days with no follow-up call, I called the store to find out what was happening. This is when I started to feel as though I was being punked or on candid camera.
The first representative made it clear that he was busy and said he couldn't locate the order when we provided the phone number on the order. He was so ready to pass the buck.
So I called back to see if someone else could help. Why does the customer have to feel like they need to do this is beyond me but nevertheless, this is what I did.
The girl who answered the phone said she couldn't pull up the order either with the phone number that was on the order. I had an email confirmation with it on there but for some reason they couldn't locate it. I said do you want the order number or invoice number? She said no. They can not retrieve orders with either of those numbers. Hmmmm. Very strange.
So I requested to speak with a manager. Her name is Cindy. Cindy gets on the phone, and miraculously was able to locate the order. Then she proceeded to give the worst attitude, as if we were inconveniencing her ! Shame on me. She completely disregarded the entire situation and proceeded to tell me that the order would be available on the day it was supposed to be. Again. Hmmmm. The whole reason for this debacle was because I was trying to get it expedited but that did not matter to Cindy. I explained this to her and she hung up on me.
Lowe's homestead waterfront really provides stellar service. If you want to feel like your opinion as a customer should not ever matter or needs should not be met definitely go here.
