| - So, Yelpers, I'm sitting here in Andy's joint and I've just finished a killer steak and side and salad. The steak: a juicy, mouthwatering sirloin with a horseradish dipping sauce that suggests to your stomache a light, kind fill. The side: ratatouille, roasted, with a whisper of spice that only makes the large portion seem larger with the considerable nuggets combined to make a palette sing. The salad: a Greek style, light anti-inflamatory settling and the dressing is so unique and full of character.
The server, Mackenzie, was cordial, funny, and well-prepared. I ate everything he suggested.
Andy, The owner, a robust, big-hearted man with the soul of a 2000 year old appreciation of cuisine. If there is something to be known of what we eat, at all, he has done his research. He's mouthy, and bold. Some people might not love that; I will call those people thin-skinned, over-sensitive fools. I was happy to be privy to his noisome vocalises and deep, joyful perspectives on life, love, art, and more love.
I enjoyed this place. I will return, with more people, like me, who can dish it out and take it like champions of human interaction. And we will dine, and drink wine, and break bread like people should: honestly. Thank you Andy.
