  • I had the pleasure of working with David Wrice of Montrose Kia in Sheffield, OH. Let me say right off the top the gentleman himself was amazing, a joy to work with. Might I go a step further and give respect to the entire sales staff. None of them were pushy or creepy, as typical of most car dealership experiences. Even the finance manager was affable, kind and understanding. It didn't hurt that he had a good sense of humor combined with professional know-how and some great tips on reducing payments . But back to David Wrice. I came in because my bank had sent a preapproval letter for a new or used car. I started off looking at the Kia Optimas. Beautiful machines , sexy and elegant. Unfortunately the car payments were out of my range. I told David of that and took myself to work. Later in the day , David somehow found another car that was in my budget and wasn't a clunker or cheap looking. I came up to the dealership, and as much as I'm a fan of Chevy Impalas, the version before me wasn't sporty enough , it didn't have that "thing" that I knew my wife, the primary driver of the new car, would like. Let me mention, David is funny yet knowledgable, so as we went through the used lot, we looked at several cars while carrying on great convo. My eyes settled on a 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ in silver. It was beautiful , it was love at first site. I asked David about it, he gave me the keys instantly, told me to pull it around so he could slap some plates on it and then show my wife. Granted it was dark at that point, but somehow the car was still glowing and beautiful. We rode about 12 miles to show my wife the car. David was patient, easy going and understanding. I won't go on and on, but I'll say this, she liked it, I liked it. We had a 2006 Mazda 5 that was tried and true, but just couldn't handle the snow, and the struts couldn't handle these American streets, not to mention, low profile tires are $$$$$ expensive. Not only did Montrose Kia give me a good deal on the trade, they paid it off with some change left over! I put $50 down to reserve the car, assured that regardless of my decision I would be quickly refunded. Today , my wife and I test drove the car for the third and final time. To say that I"m happy is an understatement. My wife was and is satisfied, as am I. Great deal, great interest rate, and a fantastic car. I'm obsessed with reviews, and I did mine, on price, reliability, driver experience, etc. etc. I can say with pride, I got a great deal from a great guy. Montrose Kia of Sheffield, OH, was an is GREAT! See David Wrice if you can, but if you can't, any of the other wonderful gentlemen and ladies will do you well! ~ I'll be going back for my next car guaranteed!
