  • Our go to whenever we have a basic craving for yakiniku meats! If you've been to a restaurant on Spring Mountain during peak dinner hours, you'll know that parking is scarce and lines to wait can be cumbersome because of seating and because Asians love to eat in large groups for some reason. I know this, because I am Asian and I love eating with the entire fam bam. Tofu hut is perfect if you want your basic yakiniku meats. It's also awesome if you and your party arrive right before 6pm because they can usually seat you right away. Otherwise, there is a list you sign in on and a small bench you can sit on to wait. Oh and I highly advise that you listen very carefully because there was one time that my party was waiting for 45 minutes till we noticed other parties were being seated before us because we were bypassed. The hostess said she called our name and no one responded. I'm sure one of the five of us who were waiting on the bench would've heard it. The women's restroom in this establishment isn't that bad, usually well stocked and clean. I always wash my hands before we get our meats so I've visited the restroom over 7 times already. We've never had any alcohol here before, but there is a small list of available beers and soju available on the back of the menu. The sides are mediocre, I only really eat the kimchi and the salad...I love the salad. The only meat I don't really enjoy cooking and eating is the ribeye, it's not like a steak or something...expect shredded meat instead. Everything else is great, even the squid which I enjoy. My kids love brisket, tongue, and pork belly. We don't ever get chicken so I'm not sure if they even have chicken available and what it would look like. They could use some soy sauce and hot sauce on the table but if you need it they're happy to provide it when asked. They have kids rates. So kids aren't free depending on age but it's not that bad because some places will charge you half the adult rate for a 3yr old which is kind of ridiculous given that the average 3yr old doesn't eat everything you feed them and is way to fascinated with all the cooking action that's going on to even think of eating. Five stars because I've always had a great experience here with my family even after that whole wait list mix up.
