  • Stayed here again on a quieter weekend. I'm writing this extremely annoyed, as I was awoken at 8:30 am in my suite to shitty, LOUD, rap music in the parking lot across the street. My boyfriend was up super late and is somehow sleeping through this, that's the only reason I'm not switching rooms as we speak. My suite is in the south tower, facing the bus lodging. Apparently, the empty parking lot behind Peppermill is a place for people to go and blare music, looked like they might've been selling tacos or something too. I love rap, it's all I listen to, but fuck this shit. The line for check in has also been at LEAST 30 minutes, even if the self check in/check out machines were working. That's something the Riviera needs to work on and stop ignoring. If someone can't check in for whatever reason, they should be moved to the side. The line should be consistently moving people! Also, my suite was okay but they need to at least replace shower heads if they're not going to renovate. I felt fancier at a holiday inn, than I did in this suite. If you don't want to wait to check in until 4, usually they'll let you free of charge whenever the maids are done!
