  • The plusses: The staff is very friendly. They're open at 6 AM -- and for an early riser like me, that's great. Everything is fresh, it's a nice-looking place. $2.50 for a donut seems pricey to me. And I really dislike the huge box they put their wares in. Why not just a slim bag that you can slip in your coat pocket? And the donuts were just okay. This is a nice addition to the neighborhood, and I like that I can walk there. Would I go there for breakfast? If I'm walking, maybe -- even though Mickie's is right down the street. If I'm driving? No. I'd go to either Short Stack or Bagels Forever. At some point I'll try a breakfast at Bloom. Perhaps that'll be grand, my daughter says the breakfast sandwich is pretty good.
