I've been going to Iris for about 6 years off and on. The past 3 or 4 have changed drastically.
The line between "doctor" and eyeglass seller has always been a thin one for optometrists but this one the line has been erased.
I've lived with a legally blind left eye since I was born, because of this many doctors have said that they do not recommend surgery however IRIS does, but only at their facilities. My recent appointment notice was geared toward selling rather than my eye health.
I no longer trust the advice from these optometrists. Nor should anyone else. Beware of unnecessary surgery recommendations and a constant up sell.
