| - I quite literally happened upon Living Dead. I was looking to get a Friday the 13th tattoo done, and a Google search brought me to the shop. The place is quite spacious, and kept very orderly. There can be limited seating for waiting if the place is busy, but that's true of any business. Each booth has shoulder-high walls around it for privacy, too.
I've been tattooed by two artists at Living Dead - Cassie and Daniel. I've been to shops before where I feel like the artists are annoyed I'm there, and that it's an inconvenience to do their jobs, but neither Cassie nor Dan made me feel that way - or any LD employee. All have always been friendly to me, and Cassie and Dan both made sure to open clean instruments in front of me and make sure everything was safe and proper for tattooing.
As for the work, I am happy with both tattoos (one small, one big) I have gotten there. When I needed line work touched up, Cassie was happy to do so, and both my tattoos have healed up nicely. I've spent the most time on a table with Cassie, and she was great at making conversation, helping time pass, and making sure you weren't in awful pain (or if you needed a break).
I would definitely return to Living Dead, and recommend taking your tattoo idea to them and seeing what they can do with it.
