I was informed the restaurant underwent a major renovation. The ambiance was very pleasing and quiet; however it was a bit too quiet and subdued for such a busy/trendy neighbourhood. Quite frankly it was boring and flat. Service was mediocre.
Location was okay, unsure about parking as I parked on the street.
I ordered cocktail shrimp: 3/order, fish cakes: 3/order and a glass of Chardonnay (I was told that the Pinot wasn't chilled) with tip bill came to $48. Not impressed with prices.
Would I return? No, there are a plethora of other 'taverns'/ restaurants in the area which are priced reasonably.
