I went here because I love Diners Drive-Ins and Dives. I also loved that it's an old Wingers restaurant building. What I didn't expect was the worst BBQ and service I've ever had. I had the ribs and my husband had a sampler with brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. My ribs were awful. Dry and the bones were all chipped so I kept biting into little pieces of bones. My husbands brisket was so incredibly dry and flavorless. When we told our server how my husband's family is from Alabama and Texas and he has had BBQ from all over the south and this was not good at all her response was "yeah most people from the south don't like our BBQ" That was not a good sign. She never offered to refund our food or offered a free dessert or anything to make our experience better. I refuse to go back and can name three other places that are miles better than Thee Pitts Again. In fact the chain restaurant BBQ of Famous Dave's has better BBQ than this place. Made me incredibly sad and I will second guess going to any other Triple D places again. Guy is supposed to be a BBQ aficionado and he said this place was great. Not great at all
