| - Stay FAR away! My daughter went through hell because of a mistake the billing office made! My daughter was scheduled to have a colonoscopy and endoscopy this morning at 6:45 am an hour away from our house. She had to go without food after lunch for 2 days, and had to drink magnesium citrate which caused severe stomach pain, then wake up at 5:30 am to be at the surgery center, just to be turned away because of a mistake made by dr Khuranas billing office! I will NEVER return, as long as that horrid woman in billing is still employed.
Even the staff at the surgery center thought what they were doing was dispicable and horrific, I cried because my daughter has suffered for so long and we thought we were finally going to have some answers.
We have been calling from the surgery center over and over with no answer, so we drove to the office to speak to someone in person and the doors are locked, but they were supposed to be open at 8:00am, we stayed until 9 and the doors were still locked. A guy from the office next door even came out and asked if everything was ok.
These people are trying to get money from us even though we are at 100% coverage with zero deductible! We have spoken with our insurance company and they said we do not owe anything as our deductible has been met, they even sent a letter telling us to stop paying co-pays and fees because they have to keep sending us reimbursement checks. We told the lady at APG all of this and she still wouldn't listen, so now we get to the surgery center to find our she called and cancelled the procedures because she didn't get money!
My husband was working as an emergency response for a utility company all night and she left a message while he was sleeping saying if she didn't get the money, she would cancel the procedure. We didn't get the message until we arrived at the surgery center.
The office staff are rude and unprofessional.
They are in- humane disgusting women who obviously don't follow the doctors oath to do no harm.

All of this breaks my heart because dr k is AMAZING! His bedside manner is the best I ever experienced, my daughter loves him and so do I. He would always tell her a joke that she would later tell tour family at dinner. And my daughter would look for good jokes to tell him every visit, it was so cute.
I know that the things we have experienced today have nothing to do with him, but the people in his billing office are awful, and I won't return to a place that employs someone so cruel they would let my little 8 year old daughter go through all of this pain for a buck.
