  • This was the 2nd time we have been. Both for Birthday Celebrations. We had a reservation...don't go without one. Had to wait at bar for a while, but that was no problem. Waiter was very friendly, but it did take a long time to order between bringing wine...entire meal took 3 hours, so order when you see your waiter. It's hard to hunt them down because they are busy. The cheese dip is awesome, ask for an extra one to take home if you have leftovers. The salad dressings were fantastic. My 6oz filet was perfect. Melted in my mouth. My husband got the black and bleu ribeye. The steak was great, but not as good as the filet. Each entree comes with a side, but they are good sized, so plan on sharing with your family. The waiter brought an ice cream/brownie for my husband's birthday with a sparkler. That was a nice touch. We also had the chocolate silk pie...awesome. Only complaint was that our salads came out about 2 minutes before our steaks came out. The waiter apologized and just said that he didn't want to bring us cold steaks by having them wait back in the kitchen. He offered to redo any steak if got cold before we were able to eat it. I went straight for the filet and put the salad to the side for later. Glad I did. Mine was hot. My husband finished his salad and his steak had cooled too much. He didn't complain about it though. Ambiance is old school, but who cares, the food was pretty amazing and you feel like you are in good company with everyone around you. It's not the least bit pretentious. Makes for a perfect birthday celebration and it won't break the bank.
