  • While I was walking Old Town I stopped for a few moments to watch the "Lord of Glass" Crosbie work with molten glass. Along side a helper. Both were quickly transforming their 1900 degree pieces into various shapes, working the glass and reheating in the furnace. Both the glass and the furnace are glowing yellow. I didn't get to see any finished work, however there are pictures on the wall that might describe their work. They were busy spinning and shaping. Cosbie is known for and has a perfected technique for hand-blown glass jellyfish. Perhaps this workshop will be taking their finished pieces of art in the coming days and hosting an exhibition.
