rev:text	STORE SAYS IT IS IN BANKRUPTCY AS OF 12/19/2015, SO NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS ARE BEING ISSUED ON ANYTHING AT ALL ANYMORE! I've shopped The Room Store many times over the last 10 years and was always satisfied--especially with their prompt deliveries. All that has changed. I purchased a mattress late in 2015 & the salesman told me that it was out-of-stock, but that another was coming in soon. The store then called me and set up delivery quickly enough, but they delivered a mattress that was FILTHY--clearly a floor model--a fact that I did not notice until I was making the bed 5 minutes after the delivery drivers left. When I called to complain, the salesman told me that the model was "no longer available" but that I could contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer was far more helpful at trying to get a replacement, but could not do so. They gave me the name of the store manager--J.R.--and told me to contact him to schedule a pickup. After leaving 5 messages and also trying to contact J.R. by email, I wrote to the manufacturer again. They, too, were unable to reach him, but said that they would keep trying. Every time that I called in December, J.R. was "unavailable" or I was told that "it's his day off today & tomorrow". When I called again this morning, he was "with a customer". He never called me back, but had the original salesman do so. The bottom line is that I can come in and make another selection, but only of the same or greater value, as THERE ARE NO LONGER ANY CREDITS OR REFUNDS BEING ISSUED. The salesman angrily told me, "You should know that we're in bankruptcy". Not wanting to deal with this business or its employees any longer, I'm writing to my credit card issuer to have the charge removed. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
