I really don't know where to start as I had heard this place is incredible! I read many Yelp reviews and some were great and a few not so great. So, here goes.....I made a reservation for two at 5:45 on a Tuesday night. We were welcomed by the hostesses and sat immediately. Our server asked for a drink order and I had read that the sangria was good but not enough fruit in it. The server asked if I would like to sample it before ordering a glass. I thought that was top notch customer service. It was a red sangria so I opted out and ordered a glass of Reisling. I normally don't order wine, but I thought I would treat myself. The other member of my party (my 17 yr. old grandchild ordered a diet Coke). Before I continue I would like to state that the server and waiter's assistants were incredible and my grandchild's drink was refilled at least 5 or 6 times. We were brought complimentary garlic bread and it was delicious. After we inhaled the first basket, our server asked if we'd like another and we couldn't resist. We ordered the crazy alfredo that I had read so much about, and the server told me it was the most popular dish on the menu. That item was $22.95 which I consider pricey for pasta regardless if what is in it. In addition I had always wanted to try bransino (a whole small sea bass) and decided to treat myself as it was pricey for my wallet at $28.95. We also ordered a small white pizza that had beautiful mounds of ricotta for $13.95. Cutting to the chase.......The bransini was very dry and no flavor even though there was a spring of rosemary and a lemon wedge or two inside. The dish was served with a mound of dressed arugula salad which was the 2nd highlight of our experience. The crazy alfredo was dry, the sauce was rather brown in color than your every day alfredo that is white. The pizza was the highlight of the meal and the least expensive item. Our entire bill was $84.22. We didn't finish the meal and brought home the pizza and pasta. I left a hefty tip for the pristine service. I am going to make an authentic alfredo sauce to add to the pasta for tonight's dinner side dish.
