| - If you want an amazing AYCE sushi experience, Yama Sushi is one of your best bets in town!
The place is a bit hidden, since it's located in a commercial complex. We waited about 12 minutes to be seated. Servers were attentive in taking orders and giving suggestions. They also refilled our drinks well.
They make your food as you order them, instead of a typical buffet. We had miso soup, shrimp tempura, agedashi tofu and mild seafood salad as appetizers. Me and my mom were surprised with the quality of the food that they serve, since it's a smorgasbord type of thing. The tofu and tempura had a light crisp coating matched with some sweet salty sauce. We had some salmon, saba, white tuna, uni and sweet shrimp sushi. All of them had a nice amount of protein. The rice had the perfect blend of tartness from the rice vinegar balanced with the natural sweetness of rice and a bit of sugar. It was also cooked al dente.
For dessert, we had green tea ice cream, which also took our breath away, literally from being stuffed and figuratively.
I'll bring my other friends next time so they can experience Yama sushi!
