| - This place is closely starting to rival my favorite Cleveland cocktail spots, and with good reason. First off, the cocktail bar itself is absolutely lovely. Tastefully decorated with just a hint of 1920's charm. Although the room is small, I find there's always plenty of seating options, whether it's the bar stools or comfy leather couch in the back. Of course, the drinks are perfection. The bartender here really knows his stuff. They focus mainly on classic cocktails, but at the same time, the bartender can usually whip something up if you know what you like. I will say that the cocktails here aren't the tutti-frutti "fun" cocktails you might get elsewhere, but rather focused on interesting mixes of syrups, bitters and spirits. In actuality, it reminds me a lot of VTR. Along with the cocktails, they have an extensive list of whiskeys and bourbons.
The location is quite secretive, you'll want to look for the house next to the Quintana Spa and ring the bell in the back. I'll leave it at that as telling you more gives away all the fun! Suffice it to say, if classic cocktails are what you're after, a visit here will both impress and satisfy!
