I don't ever expect to get good sushi at these types of restaurants, especially in AZ. I do expect them to have OK level rolls. (At least on the level of other similarly priced Asian buffets.) I usually ask the guy at the sushi bar to make me spicy tuna hand rolls. At this place, the non-Asian guy (who couldn't speak English) manning the sushi bar didn't even know how to make them. I hope he wasn't just refusing to make them for me. Unacceptable.
Their salad bar is very above average.
The other food at the buffet is pretty good, especially for the price.
Their wait staff was pretty attentive. They cleared plates and refilled drinks diligently.
