| - Tina did my wedding gown alterations. They turned out very well and I am happy with how it looked. However, I had to reiterate and be very clear on what I wanted. I needed the top to come up and be tighter so I didn't fall out of it and it took a few tries to get it to where I felt comfortable. After the first visit she said it was fine, but it definitely was not fine. Also for some of the quality of work (not noticeable to the naked eye, but if you lifted the top layers of my dress, there was some uneven tulle that looked like it was hacked off). Also, she pricked her finger while pinning my dress and got a little blood on it (it was cleaned immediately, but still a little freaky). I really looked around Charlotte and went in to talk to some other seamstresses, but struggled to find a place I liked so I settled here. It was overpriced as well - haggling seems to be an option though. I needed a hem, bustle, and the sides and center of the bodice brought in and she first quoted over $550, I ended up paying $440. $440 still was not really worth it. My mom is a great at sewing, but lives far away unfortunately. She was pretty horrified by the whole experience when I told her and she looked at the dress, it really wasn't until my mom pointed some stuff out to me that I was displeased with the service. Just my two cents.
