  • I decided to make the cut and chop off 10 inches of my hair to donate to Pantene Beautiful Lengths program. I had been over a year since I last cut my hair and two years since I've actually paid for a hair cut so I decided to splurge a little. I booked my Friday evening appointment for 6:00pm at lunch time that same day. I got to the salon early and I welcomed by the ladies behind the front desk and they warmly offered me a drink. Hypnotic had a very comfortable seating area and the salon was very clean looking with a hip edge. The customer before me took a little longer than was expecting so I wasn't able to get into the chair until about 10min past 6. My hair stylist's name was Cynthia and she was very sweet and apologetic for making me wait. I happened to be the second customer in a row she had donating hair. I showed her a picture of what I wanted from one of the books in the waiting area and my hair turned out very similar to the picture (just a little bit shorter because I donated so much hair). I won't lie from the website I expected my hair cut to be $55 but because my hair started out longer it ended up being $75. I was a little thrown by the price, but I didn't ask for the quote upfront and I remember reading that on the website after I was given the total price. Overall, I'm pleased with the haircut, style, and service. I just do not know if I will be back in the future because of the price tag, it is just a bit out of my price range.
