| - There are highs and lows for this place so I'll just give you a couple of each.
So we are getting the room ready for April 4th and needed to buy some necessities, crib, stroller, car seat, mattresses, etc. We decided to go to BRU because everything seems to be on sale and the weekend we made all our purchases was a super sale weekend. We ended up picking up a crib, stroller combo, mattress, pads, covers, etc., basically about 8-9 hundred bucks worth of stuff.
What made me mad was that I wanted white in a certain crib which they had but couldn't get the changing table in white, sounds stupid but true, so after 30 minutes of waiting and searching on the net, I found one at a Penny's and decided to just buy it there. The crib was special order, 7-14 days, and it was supposed to arrive. 2 weeks passed and we finally decided to call. Apparently our crib arrived a week earlier but they dropped the ball on calling us. Then when we wanted to go pick the crib up, but they told us not to come right away because it was buried behind other orders.
Side note, the place is a zoo, expect everything to be out of place, scattered, and customer service has a big line each time I am there.
On a good note, we did get everything on sale. I believe just about everything was 20% off and we signed up for a CC so we got another 10-15% off. We ended up knocking like $250 off our final bill, so with that in mind this place gets a solid 3 stars.
I just don't have a whole lot of patience for people that go to BRU and expect to spend 4 hours there with no respect for the people that want to get in and out within 30 minutes so that could be dampening my rating / review. My one recommendation to BRU is WIDEN THE DARN AISLES and please clean up the bedding area including keeping the shelves stocked. Oh yeah, for Rachel's sake, keep the crapper clean!
