  • What a terrible experience. No candy is worth that abuse. Had $50+ of candy in my hand, ready to buy and was called a thief for taking 3 jelly beans to share amongst My brother, my girlfriend and I to taste a flavor we've never had before and see if we wanted to buy EVEN MORE. The owner/manager (whatever she is) reprimanded me, pulled me to the front of the store, weighed out the three jelly beans and charged me for it but not before making sure I knew how terrible of a person I was for wanting to try that little jelly bean. I've never been so disrespected and insulted in my life. I'll say it again, NOTHING is worth that kind of abuse. I later went to another specialty candy shop on st.laurent where I was greeted with a smile, offered samples and was treated like a human being.
