First, the staff was found to be exceptional in courtesy, friendliness and professionalism.
We were given room 3002 which we discovered shares a common wall with both third floor elevators. The nuisance and distraction was absolutely horrible. The sound of the elevator to include the loud thumping they made when landing on the third floor was simply intolerable. Lost a night's sleep and changed rooms the following day.
After checking out and heading home we discovered that we had left our two gel foam pillows and cases in the room. We immediately contacted the front desk and made arrangements for our daughter to pick them up which took two attempts at which time she got pillows minus the pillow cases. We have since contacted the hotel by both telephone and correspondence which initially went without a response for nearly two weeks. Finally, a corporate representative contacted me and offered a $25.00 gift card for the loss of our $45.00 pillow cases and one night's sleep. Hilton has been excluded from any future hotel accommodations. Their customer service even at the corporate level is ridiculous!
