| - My folks and I have gone to RideNow since 2007 when it was on Country Club. My father has purchased three motorcycles from there, referred my cousin to them, and I have purchased a quad and dirt bike from them. With this history with them, my parents decided to go to them first to search for their next toy.
Sometime in August my parents were shopping for a new 4 Seat Rzr 1000. After a week or two of negotiating, waiting for the Rzr to arrive, and for the check from financing to arrive; we were finally ready to take delivery of the Rzr. The first thing we notice is that the Rzr provided wasn't the color we ordered. This was honestly a mistake on our part as we didn't realize that only the Turbo came in a black/grey titanium. The standard 1000 titanium is a red color. Again, I understand that was mostly our mistake. The next thing we notice though is that the roof/speakers/light bundle was not what we were demonstrated. The parts guy specifically showed us a setup that they had on display. He told us the price, and told us that was the product for the Rzr we were purchasing. So we are under the impression that what we're paying (3000+), was for the product that was shown to us. The product that was put on the Rzr was very inferior to the product we were shown.
When we saw this, we wanted a resolution. Either the system we were demonstrated, a discount on what was put on the Rzr, or to take the product off of the Rzr. This is when they told us that they don't even make the product we were shown for our Rzr.
The finance manager, I really wish I remembered his name, told us we can take the Rzr or leave it. That was it, no other solution. We obviously were still interested and willing to purchase the vehicle. We just were not willing to pay the same price for something we were told and demonstrated had a lot more features. At this point the finance manager became the most unprofessional that I have ever seen. He talked down to us, called us liars, threw his employees under the bus. My parent's and I are also pretty upset at this point. The finance manager then asks us, "Well do I fire him? (points at the salesman), Do I fire him? (Points at the parts salesman) or do I fire both of them?". We obviously don't want anyone fired, we just want what we were promised.
Like I said we were pretty heated at this point as well. At this point my mother tells the finance manager to stop being such a jerk. Honestly at this point; that's all he was doing, being a jerk. This made him totally ballistic. He then got into my mom's face, telling her off and then kicked us out of the store saying he was going to rip the check from our credit union up. My mom then asked to get a supervisor's contact number or Corporate's number. The finance manager told his employees that they better not give those numbers to us. We end up leaving with no Rzr and no contact information to a supervisor.
After doing some research, we find out the contact information for the GM, I believe his name is Cameron Tkach. My dad reached out to him and was told he'd get a call back. My dad said he believes he got one call that he missed and never got a response after that.
Luckily our neighbors referred us to the Tucson location. They were able to give us the same deal that Chandler gave us on the Rzr plus the stereo/roof setup at a lower cost. They were pleasant and helpful. We did everything with them within a couple days, no issues.
I can say I have NEVER witnessed as bad customer service as I did at Ride Now Chandler with the finance manager. Since we got it all resolved with another location, I wasn't going to even leave a review. But it is about 4 months later and thinking about it still gets me so mad. I live in the same neighborhood as the Chandler RideNow and my parents live a couple miles away. I can tell you, we will never do any more business there. No services, no buying parts, nothing. We definitely wouldn't refer a single person there either.
