What a disappointment! We came here after seeing a posting on FB giving the fried pork tenderloin an excellent review. Being originally from IL, my husband and I are always looking for places to get this beloved sandwich. I wish I had my phone with me when we were served this greasy, stomach upsetting mess. The pic would have proven what we got was not even close to the sandwhich pictured on FB.
First of all, the fried coating was not the normal golden crunchy as all tenderloins are. The coating was an odd darker brown with pools of grease settling in the dips. It was literally sliding off the pork due to the amount of grease between the meat and the coating.
I really think this tenderloin had been cooked earlier then when we ordered it the chef threw it back into the fryer that was filled with inadequately temperatured oil. All this for almost $18 (2 cokes and 1 sandwich)
