I really hate that I have to give Brio 2 stars but based on my visit this weekend I have no choice. I have been here a few times years ago and the experience was much better but Saturday was a disappointment. The wait for a server to say hello was not acceptable. Being that this is the first impression and setting the stage for our visit I say it was a fail. The wait to get drinks and bread basket was longer then it should have been as well. The food.... Oh how I was excited for the food to come but wow was I disappointed. I got the Mediterranean Shrimp dish that cost $16.25 and it was so bland. The shrimp were dry and rubbery, the veggies on the plate were fine as was the orzo pasta but this dish needed some sauce or a heck of a lot more of the vinaigrette that was just in spots on the sides of the plate. Overall very boring dish for way too much money. My son liked his chicken fingers but we told the server he wanted ranch. At that time the server should have told us that Brio doesn't have ranch but rather uses a Parmesan dressing. He didn't tell us this and my kid was rather disappointed when he dipped his chicken in it. My point here is the lack of communication from the server. I felt like we were just a nuisance to our server. When we left the restaurants was up front and didn't even say goodbye. This experience was so disappointing for us. I hope no one else has this experience.
