| - I'm from California, no where near Nevada. I was on vacation in Las Vegas for edc. My friend ended up perforated his lungs and it caused it to collapse and cause air bubbles to travel to his throat. Our group first took him to UMC after edc at 7. We were at UMC for 3 plus hours for a cat scan, and just got him to take it. Came back 20 to 30 minutes later with the results.
Anyways UMC was the worst place I ever been. So we went to Valley around the corner. Looking at the stars I was worried. But they saved his life.
Took us 30 minutes for him to get checked in, looked at by a nurse, admitted to a room, and was given tests.
Just a note, both me and my friends are under the age of 21.
We go in to Valley and they were all friendly, talkative, and was fascinated with my friends condition. They examined him ASAP and explained slow and clearly what's going on.
UMC did the complete opposite.
I will for sure come back if anything happens again. Really did save my friend life. And I could never repay them enough.
Good hospital, great staff, and very caring too.
Negative side, there's a lot of cracked our people here. But I mean what can you do, still a great hospital.
