Walking in to a popcorn machine set the stage for a great experience. The clear, crisp urban-style micro-brewery doesn't serve food, but that popcorn machine is the saving grace of sampling beers. In between your flight choices, a piece of popcorn clears the palate.
I've had every beer on the menu and I have to say that the Dynamite IPA is one of the best beers I've ever had. The fact that it comes straight from the vat puts it over the edge. The others pale in comparison after you've tried the Dynamite, but you'll enjoy them all.
My favorite part is the extensive story behind each beer. For example, Bertha, the "table beer" was brewed first in bathtubs in Maryland 30 years ago. Conveniently, I was on my way to a craft beer tasting my friend was hosting that is from Maryland. You can imagine I got a growler to go!
That is another great thing about this place...if you don't have a growler or want to buy one, they do cans! They label the growlers as well with the ABV and the name of the beer.
