| - It's my first summer in Phoenix and I don't know what I was thinking, but, I braved out seeing a concert here. The entire venue is completely outdoors without AC -- most of the seats are under the pavilion roof, there's a small section of seats just right outside where the roof ends, and there's a lawn in the back that's completely open and people are allowed to bring chairs (with size restrictions).
To my surprise, I enjoyed my first concert here! Like any other concert venue, food and drinks are pricey. The bathrooms were big but HOT. They also have strict size restrictions for bags/purses, so make sure you check their website with the exact measurements and dos/don'ts to avoid having to walk back to your car. We bought one ticket for event parking ahead of time, with a gate number assigned to us, so parking was a breeze and worth the $20 we paid for since we carpooled. There was plenty of security, walking around throughout the entire concert, so I appreciated that.
Overall, I really liked the setup of this venue (stage, seats, drink/food stands) and would come back again... probs only when it cools down though.
