  • A large group of us went after a work offsite and while one of the out of towners announced this was their favorite place for dinner when they are staying Uptown, color me just kinda meh. There were a few appetizers ordered for the table, including frito misto which was really overcooked and tough. The Aria Caesar salad, a combo of kale and romaine, was good although under-dressed. For dinner I ordered Grandma's lasagna which was a huge portion but again, good but not great. The amount of Ricotta vs. the rest of the dish tended to overwhelm and dumb down some of the other flavors. You all know me as one whose three star reviews tend toward the negative but I do believe A-OK fits the bill. I would not be upset if another work group wanted to go but on my own terms, I believe there are better options for me to spend my dining dollars.
