  • Awesome bakery just a bit of a jaunt south from 17th avenue. It's very authentically French -- with the exception of the absolutely RIDICULOUS portion sizes. Unfortunately, the prices match the portions, so you'll be paying a lot to get a lot of food when spending less for the right amount would have been infinitely better. I've stopped here a few times and love everything I've tried. The croissants are deliciously buttery, the pastries are sweet melt-in-your-mouth goodness, illy coffee is always freshly brewed. It's a busy place, so you have to come early to get a spot, particularly if you want to sit on the patio. This is definitely a worthy stop if you want to pick up a small cake or lemon tart for a special occasion. Overall, very good but f they cut the portion sizes by 1/3 and the prices by 1/4, I will increase my rating by 1/5th.
