I'm so upset with sleep country. We went in last spring for a new mattress as our old one was causing discomfort. The rep was lovely, we tried several different beds and finally agreed on a Kingsdown mattress that was suppose to be "medium/firm". Delivery day goes off without a hitch, but a couple months later we realize we're starting to have a lot of pain when we wake up, my lower back is in a significant amount of pain and my boyfriend's arm is completely numb and is waking up with headaches.
So we go back to the store and the rep we saw gave us a card for customer service, we called and they agreed to sent out an inspection rep to check out the mattress. Inspection day comes, and the Sleep Country rep agrees the mattress is really soft and he could see how it would be a problem if we had ordered a medium/firm mattress. He said he would send in his report and somebody from head office would call us back.
Months go by we follow up several times and never receive any phone calls back. Finally, they inform us our claim for a new bed has been denied by Kingsdown. My boyfriend is quite upset by this point and calls the Kingsdown rep who comes out for an inspection a month later, he states that the mattress is suppose to be a soft mattress - NOT A MEDIUM FIRM - and they couldn't technically replace it because there wasn't really anything wrong with it.
SO. For the moment we are stuck with a mattress we despise and I'm wake up with back pain every day, I don't think I've slept properly in over 6 months. Sleep Country's solution? We'll give you 50% off another mattress, Um I think not. Needless to say we are NOT impressed.
