  • I got my hands (and mouth) on some very delicious fish tacos here. I love a good fried fish taco as long as it's not greasy and this one was done well. Flavors were on point and the tortilla was fantastic! It's kind of a bummer that you can't mix and match tacos, but that problem can be solved by going with someone who likes to swap/share. I love the atmosphere. It's loud and lively and dark and a little steam-punkish (check out the bike gear chandelier- it's amazing!) Our server was really great and was able to give some helpful drink recommendations based off of preferences. This would have been a five star experience if it weren't for dessert. Let me preface by saying that I will eat almost anything that contains sugar. I have a sweet tooth that rivals an elementary school student. But the dessert was... just not good. I couldn't even get half way through it. I ordered the whipped cheesecake with bananas foster and brownie brittle topping. "Whipped cheesecake" essentially equates to taking all the ingredients of a cheesecake, minus the crust, and putting it in a blender. It was rich (too rich) and creamy but the temp and texture just made it feel like I was eating sweet cream cheese that was sitting out too long. The bananas were good but just added more mush on top of mush. The brownie bits couldn't even save it. Next time, I'll pass on dessert and just do drinks and tacos!
