Went here on a Sunday to get some family/baby Christmas photos and had an appointment at 2:20 (we arrived at 2:00 to check-in). At 3:30 PM we were finally called for our photo. This is ridiculous and unacceptable on so many levels.
First, what's the purpose of an appointment if it means NOTHING. Second, these are children you'r dealing with. Adults can't tolerate waiting for over an hour...how do you think babies and toddlers are going to handle the wait. My 8 month old would have been fine if we actually got in for our photo shoot around 2:20 but by 3:30 PM he was past due for a nap and not a happy baby. Luckily, my older nephews and niece handled the wait better but still unraveled towards the end.
Third, could they hire more incompetent staff?! I get it, you're flustered, there's a ton of kids and adults but some organization to your process might help. Oh and it might also help if your online/advertised appointment times weren't 10 minutes when in actuality it takes at least 30 minutes for a photo shoot from beginning to end. I did notice that parents love to have 2-3 outfit changes (we didn't have any) and this form of torture for their kids doesn't last 10 minutes...it's more like 30+ minutes. If you're going to allow people to schedule in 10 minute increments then be a little more diligent in enforcing that time for each group and cut out the nonsense of multiple outfit changes when you have back to back appointments.
Finally, we were asked to come back in 20 minutes to view the photos. When we came back (20 minutes later) we had to wait an additional 20 minutes and remind the staff we were waiting. HORRIBLE experience and never going back to get holiday photos at this studio...or any Picture People studio if it's like this.
