I had heard so much about Daisy Cafe and Cupcakery from other Yelp folks and magazines that I dragged a whole group of folks up here one Saturday morning. After the meal I wasn't sure what I did it for.
The strata was billed as their speciality so decided to go for the chorizo and pepper jack one. What arrived was a quiche with the different ingredients built in layers to represent strata. I found it to be average. The chorizo was good but not at all spicy. The strata was good but not outstanding.
My wife got the huevos rancheros which was again average. We have had better but this wasn't bad per se.
Since it was a cupcakery we got a chocolate mocha and blueberry lemon cupcake. Both were again good but not great.
We asked the server for a to go box which she forgot about and we went up to the counter to pick up.
Good part is that they have parking for about 10-15 cars
Overall it was an average experience. A bit of a let down given the great reviews. Definitely not something you drag a group of people to.
