My wife, brother, cousin and I decided on this restaurant after the great reviews. We were planning on watching a show over at The Smith Center and wanted to eat somewhere within close proximity. I would not be dissappointed in our choice. First we were greated very warmly and seated right away. I would recommend making a reservation and you could easily do that on their website. The atmosphere was very warm with all the dark wood features.
On to the service and dishes. The service was impeccable. My ice tea actually was filled with ice and I continued to get ice tea AND ice throughout the dinner! Perfect. Most of the time at other restaurants I get a glass with 5 cubes of ice that melt by the middle if the dinner and unless you ask for extra ice your not going to get it. It's the big things that count but all the little things count just as much. Also the wait staff was very friendly and welcoming.
The dishes we had were the best I had in awhile. We had the calamari in which the caramelized onions were delicious! I had the seared tuna which I cannot even begin to describe. The dish was just amazing. The tuna melted in my mouth. Unbelievable. If you love sushi you will love this dish. My wife had the shrimp scampi which she loved. My brother had the prime rib eye which he stated was cooked to perfection and my cousin had the pork chops that were cooked just right. I have to say that previously we ate at the steakhouse inside the sunset station and I would most definitely have paid a little more to eat at Vic and Anthony's.
Don't pass up the opportunity to eat here. I would probably compare the quality of food to when my wife and I ate at BOA Steakhouse about 3 years ago. Happy Dining!
