| - I didn't purchase but I did want to share my observations and interaction with the crew at Eyeglass World. I came in a few days ago after an awful experience at Lenscrafters and was immediately welcomed in by a beautiful young lady, Lena. It was quite busy & she was currently assisting a customer who was being extremely loud, rude & difficult, from what I & everyone else could overhear. She never once came across as impatient or lost her cool and by the time their interaction was over, that particular customer seemed quite pleased with his experience as whatever issue he had was resolved.
I was also greeted by other employees who, when I explained I was just looking, left me alone (this was not a bad thing, I do not like to be hounded). I was there browsing for maybe half an hour & I must've looked confused (which, I was) & Lena excused herself from speaking with a few of the crew and asked me if I was finding everything okay & if I had any questions. I had several. Lena was absolutely fantastic!
She sat with me and explained their promotions, she researched my insurances and sought out a description of all my benefits, printing them out & explaining everything (I am double covered and this was not an easy task). She worked all kinds of magic when it came down to pricing everything out and figured in which matter of billing would be the most cost effective for me. She explained the different types of options I had in regards to glasses and answered every question I had, which was a lot.
I have never in my life received that kind of service and she was amazing. She knew I wouldn't be purchasing that day and she never once made me feel like I was wasting her time or killing her opportunities for commission. I also observed the way that the team interacts with one another. They all seemed very playful and caring of one another and you can definitely tell that this team shares a bond. They were a riot & fun to watch. The only reason I didn't purchase that day because my prescription expired & it was too late for their optician to take walk ins. My indursnce benefits dont kick in for another few weeks. I will be returning and I will be telling everyone I know that needs glasses that this is the place to get them. I was very impressed with my experience there and Lena certainly deserves some kind of recognition. I will be contacting the corporate office as well. You just don't get that kind of service these days anymore.
