| - Please don't bring anyone you love or care about to this hotel. I'm very surprised a reputable company such as travelocity.com would advertise for this hotel. The location has plenty of pimps, prostitutes and drug addicts. I'm sure this area is considered the bad part of town so not much you could do to improve this hotel other than burn it down & rebuild it plus the entire surrounding neighborhood.
Things to do nearby: purchase drugs, buy a strung out prostitute, possibly get robbed.
The street this hotel is located on (Van Buren) is close to the airport but is in a very stechy part of town which has plenty of "what appears to be" drug addicts, homeless people, prostitutes and pimps walking up and down the street. I drove past the hotel twice because the big sign with the hotel's name is no longer there, just the empty frame it use to be on. There were a a lot of little kids running around playing in the parking lot, almost like their family might have fell on hard times and be living in one of the rooms. The room was disgusting, everything was dirty from the floor, bed, bathroom, toilet paper, soap, etc. I have stayed at some "not so great" hotels before where I would say "at least staying in the hotel is better than sleeping in your car" but I would have to say I would rather sleep in my car and use the restroom at the gas station than touch anything in this hotel room. I know the rooms are super cheap but spend the extra $15-20 and go somewhere else.
