| - Over the years I have bought several pieces from The Room Store and have been a satisfied customer. HOWEVER I am no longer a satisfied customer with them. My husband and I bought a mattress set from them and within a few months it started to sink. After a year of calling to get someone to call back and come out we finally got somone to come out to "look at and repair the bed". My thoughts were how do you repair a mattress? The technician came out, took some pics said we would hear from someone in 3 days and left. 2 weeks later, still nothing. So we called them to see what's going on. "Oh someone tried to call you." Come to find out someone misinputted my phone number into the system. They were willing to exchange the mattress for the one that is out now (they discontinued our bed. I wonder why?? hmmm) or about $500 less than what we paid for the mattress set because they are only paying for the mattress. since when do box springs cost $500? So even if we don't want the replacement mattress which appears to be a lower quality, we would have to come out of pocket more money to buy another mattress from The Room Store. I wish I could just get all of my money back and buy from somewhere else. I will never buy another piece of furniture from here. And when I say I have bought several pieces, I mean several (2 sectionals, 2 beds, a dining room set, end tables, coffee tables, lamps, an entire bedroom set), but no more. I really hate the way we have been treated.
