| - If you love to cook Asian food or are attempting to cook Asian food, GO HERE.
First off, they have a $10 year membership fee in order to shop here; however, it's not necessary. If you aren't a member, every time you come here you will get charged an extra 5% on your purchase. If you're going to come here at least a few times within a year, definitely become a member to save some a little bit of money!
Since I'm a lover of Japanese, Korean, and Vietnamese cuisine, I've been trying to dabble in the kitchen to make my own dishes. The amount of products that this store have is incredibly overwhelming, but that's a good thing! Compared to some other Asian markets, their prices are slightly cheaper for Asian staples such as soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, etc.
Some of the aisles are clearly labeled with its type of cuisine, but some aisles aren't. If you need help finding an item, the staff was definitely kind enough to help.
Even though I have yet to delve into cooking with fresh fish and meat, the selection here is huge. Although this isn't a fish market, there are plenty of fresh fish and seafood to choose from. I'm not sure if I came too late in the day, but the meat selection wasn't as large as I thought it would be since I couldn't find beef brisket for my pho.
There are also a wide variety of kitchenware, cookware, settings, etc. that can also be found by the cash registers. If you're looking for a certain type of bowl that your favorite ramen shop uses, they'll most likely have it.
Overall, I'm excited to start going here more to stock up for my future Asian recipes. It takes a while for me to shop around since I'm indecisive and don't know which brand to go for, but it's worth it to have everything I need in one place!
