| - We have dined here at least 15 times, since we eat out at least 4 times per week. We have not been back in over 2 years, due to issue below:
The Good:
-Servers
-Brisket
-Ribs
-Salmon
-Shrimp
-Cornbread (love the corn kernals...please add a few more?)
-Cole slaw (PLEASE add a few more pecans!)
The Bad:
-Pulled Pork (for years it tastes like natural gas grill--sorry, but that's accurate and I am a paid "taster")
The Ugly:
-We have not been back, since one visit, our Guest who bought us drinks while standing around waiting for a table was highly over-charged for cocktails!
Charged $14.00 for a glass of St. Michel Reisling ($7 to $8. for a bottle at any super market) Also charged $14. for a well-drink and $9. for a bottle of Bud Light!
We should have asked for the manager right at the moment, but as good restaurant goers, we let it go in a busy environment.
I phoned a few days later to be treated very poorly and found that " I must be mistaken"
I have phoned about a year later (because I would like to go back but my partner will not) and the prices were lower than we paid that night.
Perhaps this was a dishonest bartender, taking advantage or perhaps prices have since been reduced.
Nevertheless...with an issue like this, you would THINK that someone would care enough to at least be courteous, let alone offer compensation...although, we never usually accept compensation.
However...Bobby Q's doesn;t care...they are busy enough.
Oh well...I miss the place...but RoadHouse at Metrocenter just a mile away, gets all of our BBQ business now.
